Tanzania Photo Exploration

Wild Tanzania!

Come along with professional travel photographer and tour leader, Wayde Carroll, for an incredible 11 day / 10 night photo exploration of Tanzania. Abundant wildlife, three national parks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and an experience with one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes on Earth—this tour is a photographer’s dream!

On this exploration we’ll be taking numerous game drives and our small group will be traveling in private seven-passenger Land Cruiser’s. The nice thing is we will limit the number of guests to three to five per vehicle so that each person will have plenty of room to capture the action no matter which side it’s happening. Each vehicle will be driven by highly experienced wildlife guides who know how to get us to the right spots for unique images and who understand the photographer’s desire to wait and anticipate the best action and lighting. Wayde will be along so that each member of our small group will receive plenty of hands on instruction and guidance throughout our journey.
In Tanzania, we’ll have plenty of daylight to capture a wide variety of locations at our own pace. We will be lodging in three star lodges and upscale tent camps with en suite restrooms, real beds, hot water, and electricity. At night we’ll review photos and talk about techniques to practice the following day.

We will most likely have incredible opportunities to photograph numerous animals and bird species including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, baboons, hyenas, flamingos, ostrich, hippos, gazelles, dik-diks, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, topis, impalas, secretery birds, cinnamon crested bee-eaters, and much more! The landscapes are stunning and I’ve seen the most glorious sunsets there as well.

We have a number of multi-night stays in one location, so if you just want to take a break and spend some time relaxing in the beautiful settings, you have that option as well!

Some planned highlights will be: wildlife, wildlife!, wildlife!!, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Olduvai Gorge, and a visit with the Hadzabe Tribe Near Lake Eyasi. Prepare to take more photos than you ever have before
