Costa Rica 2019

Costa Rica Photography Workshop 2019

April 19–30, 2019

Capture the Magic of Costa Rica

Capture the magic of Costa Rica in the company of professional photographers Wayde Carroll and Matt Estrada, with expert Costa Rican guide, Marco Fallas. Spend 11 days practicing a variety of photography skills with incredibly diverse subject matter. Wayde and Matt will be giving workshops, demonstrating various techniques, and will give presentations on composition, creative vision, and more. They’ll assign voluntary practice assignments and encourage participants to share their work with the group. Wayde and Matt will also share post-processing tips to help you make your images pop.

On this trip we’ll seek a variety of birds, mammals, plant, and reptiles, and an array of landscapes and cultural opportunities in some of the most beautiful locations imaginable. We’ll dine with locals, have the opportunity to zipline, photograph traditional dancers, walk hanging bridges, and learn how to make tortillas.

Enjoy charming accommodations, expert nature interpretation, amiable company, varied and fascinating subject matter, and a rich opportunity to grow as a photographer. The trip cost includes all guiding, photography mentoring, accommodations, transportation in Costa Rica, and most meals. Parts of the itinerary are subject to change but will be replaced with equivalent opportunities.

We have a number of multinight stays in one location so if you just want to take a break and spend some time relaxing by the pool or on your porch, you’ll have that option as well.
